Why closed-book matters

In February 2022 the CICC moved the Entry-to-Practice Exam to a closed-book format. You sit it with nothing in front of you. A practice exam you complete with your notes open tests something the real exam does not: it measures whether you can look things up, when the EPE measures whether you can recall and apply. Check the format of any practice exam before you buy it. Ours is closed-book, because the exam is.

You do not need another course

You have just spent a year in a CICC-approved programme. You have read the acts, the regulations and the case studies. You do not need another professor; you need a testing simulator. Knowledge is rarely what fails candidates on the day. Execution under time pressure is.
