RISIA bundles: your whole year, or half of it

The annual requirement for a Regulated International Student Immigration Advisor is 6.0 CPD hours. One of these bundles covers your entire year in five sessions. The other covers half.

Built for the RISIA class specifically

Every session in both bundles is CICC approved for the RISIA class. That matters, because CICC recognises CPD only where the content aligns with your scope of practice. A RISIA advises on authorisations to study in Canada and to enter and remain in Canada as a student, and is not authorised to represent any person in proceedings or applications. Bundles built for the RCIC class may contain hours that do not count toward your requirement.

Still needed for your year. 3.0 further CPD hours to reach the 6.0 hour RISIA requirement.

If you are choosing between them

Both sessions in Bundle 3A also appear in the 7 hour bundle. If you expect to need your full 6.0 hours from CPD House, take the 7 hour bundle rather than 3A followed by a top-up, or you will pay twice for the same two sessions. Bundle 3A suits advisors who already hold part of their year from another source.

Your RISIA requirement

The annual requirement for a Regulated International Student Immigration Advisor is 6.0 CPD hours. The CICC reporting period runs 1 July to 30 June. Confirm your current requirement and reporting period with the College before purchase. You remain responsible for completing your hours and reporting them yourself.

Delivery

Every session is delivered as a live, interactive webinar with direct access to the educator, and released as on-demand video at no extra cost, so you can complete either bundle at your own pace. There is no subscription and no membership fee.
