Full-year bundles: choose your practice area

The annual RCIC requirement is 16.0 CPD hours. Both bundles deliver a complete year in one registration. The choice is which side of immigration practice your hours should cover.

A complete year, either way
Each bundle carries 1.0 Professionalism (Ethics) hour and the balance in substantive immigration practice. No course appears in both bundles, so the two are genuinely different programmes rather than one catalogue arranged twice. The CICC reporting period runs 1 July to 30 June and is separate from Law Society reporting.

Ten live webinar and video sessions across admissibility, permits, refugee protection and the evidence that supports them.

Family, Economic Class and Advocacy

Eleven live webinar and video sessions across sponsorship, economic immigration, refugee advocacy and courtroom skills.

Focus. Family sponsorship and dependent children, Provincial Nominee Programs and Express Entry, work authorisation reform, Refugee Protection Division advocacy, written advocacy, statutory interpretation and cross-examination.
Educators. The Hon. Justice Rick Libman, Ph.D., Melissa Harris, Shandana Sohail and Muhammad Watto, B.A., LL.B.
Runs. September 2026 to March 2027, so it spans further into the reporting period.
Still needed for your year. Nothing. This bundle delivers the full 16.0 hour requirement with half an hour to spare.
If you also hold a Law Society licence
Several sessions in both bundles also appear in Law Society bundles for lawyers and paralegals. Hours attended once count once, and are reported separately to each regulator that recognises them. The CICC period runs 1 July to 30 June, while the Law Society year ends 31 December, so the same session can fall in different reporting years for each licence.
Before you rely on either bundle
CICC recognises CPD only where the content aligns with your scope of practice. Confirm your current requirement and reporting period with the College before purchase. You remain responsible for completing your hours and reporting them yourself.

The annual requirement for a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant is 16.0 CPD hours. The reporting period runs 1 July to 30 June. Either bundle on this page delivers a complete year in one registration, with the Professionalism (Ethics) hour included.
