Three-hour top-ups: which part of your year is missing?

Both are $29 and both are three hours. They share no sessions, and they do opposite jobs.

Your 12 hours split into two kinds
3 accredited Professionalism hours, including at least 1 EDI hour. These must come from an accredited provider, and substantive hours can never fill a gap here.

9 Substantive hours, which do not require accreditation but must be relevant to your practice or professional development.

Bundle 3A is entirely the first. Bundle 3B is entirely the second. Choose the one that matches what you are still missing.

Professionalism Essentials

The three accredited hours, including your mandatory EDI hour. Nothing you do not need.

Sessions. The Ethical Litigator. Unconscious Bias and Inclusive Client Service. Virtual Proceedings and Best Practices for Tribunal Practitioners.
Choose this if. You already hold substantive hours from other sources and need only the accredited component. This is the part of your year that cannot be sourced from an unaccredited provider at any price.
Still needed for your year. 9.0 Substantive hours from any relevant source.

BUNDLE 3B

Sentencing and Disclosure Obligations

Two substantive sessions on post-conviction consequences and disclosure duties, for a targeted top-up.

Sessions. Collateral Consequences and Sentencing. Disclosure in Civil and Summary Conviction Proceedings.
Choose this if. You already hold your three accredited Professionalism hours and need a short substantive top-up before the year closes.
Still needed for your year. 3.0 accredited Professionalism hours, including 1.0 EDI hour, from an accredited provider. Substantive hours are never applied to the Professionalism requirement.
If you are considering both
Together they come to 6.0 hours, of which 3.0 are your full accredited Professionalism component. That leaves 6.0 Substantive hours still to find. Neither bundle shares a session with the other, so nothing is duplicated if you take both.
Overlap with larger bundles
The 2026 calendar holds only four accredited Professionalism sessions in total, so all three sessions in Bundle 3A also appear in one or more larger bundles. Neither of Bundle 3B's sessions appears in any six-hour bundle. Hours attended once count once and should not be reported twice.

What the LSO requires of you in 2026

12 CPD hours each calendar year, including at least 3 accredited Professionalism hours, of which at least 1 must address equality, diversity and inclusion, and up to 9 Substantive hours. Professionalism hours must be accredited. Substantive hours need not be, but must be relevant to your practice or professional development. Complete by 31 December 2026 and report through the LSO Portal by 31 March 2027. Hours are not carried over.

Shaded rows above the rule are the accredited Professionalism sessions. No session appears in both bundles, so taking both gives you 6.0 hours with nothing duplicated. (CICC) marks a session that also carries College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants approval.
