Regulatory Compliance & Accreditation Overview

CPD House has been a trusted provider of continuing professional development since 2012. Our programs are specifically designed to meet the rigorous standards set by Canada’s primary legal and immigration regulatory bodies.

1. Law Society of Ontario (LSO)

• Status: Accredited Provider of Professionalism Content.

• Details: CPD House (O/A P.D.L.E.S.) is recognized by the LSO to provide Professionalism Hours, including Ethics, Practice Management, and Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) content.

• Substantive Hours: Our legal programs also qualify for the 9-hour substantive requirement (which does not require individual LSO accreditation but must meet the LSO’s "Eligible Educational Activity" criteria).

2. Law Society of British Columbia (LSBC)

• Status: Approved CPD Provider.

• Details: We are an accredited provider of content covering Professional Responsibility and Ethics, Client Care and Relations, Practice Management, and Substantive Law.

• Compliance: BC practitioners can fulfill their mandatory 12-hour annual requirement (including the 2-hour ethics/practice management component) through our registered courses.

3. College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC)

• Status: Approved CPD Provider since 2012.

• Details: We provide CICC-approved courses for RCICs (Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants) and RISIAs.

• Content: Our curriculum includes the latest updates in IRCC policy, IRB tribunal procedures, and ethical challenges in immigration practice (including AI oversight).

National Reciprocal Acceptance

While we are directly accredited by the LSO, LSBC, and CICC, our courses are generally recognized by other provincial law societies through reciprocal recognition agreements.
