This session provides practitioners with an advanced roadmap to navigate the professional, ethical, and administrative demands of modern client management, billing clarity, and regulatory compliance.

Adapt office operations, client relations, and advocacy boundaries to address the challenges of the self-representation surge.
Assess the critical value of the service agreement and execute professional standards in setting and settling professional fees.
Foster constructive professional relationships among diverse stakeholders, including clients, opposing unrepresented parties, and tribunal decision-makers.
Establish proactive and transparent communication channels immediately when client disputes or conflicts arise to resolve issues early.
Mitigate and avoid the root causes of regulatory complaints to professional governing bodies (CICC, LSO, LSBC).
Implement systematic auditing protocols to identify and remediate structural or content errors within immigration files.
Deconstruct and apply the strict administrative validity requirements of IRPR Section 10(1) and s. 10(2), incorporating key exceptions under paragraphs 28(b) to (d) and s. 139(1)(b).
