Description

With the increased monetary jurisdiction of the Small Claims Court, practitioners must be up to speed on higher-value litigation strategies. This course explores the impact of jurisdictional changes and unravelling procedural hurdles in multi-party claims. Practitioners will learn to manage client priorities within the simplified rules framework.

  • Navigate the implications of increased claim limits on settlement and costs.
  • Execute effective trial preparation and evidence management for complex small claims.
  • Understand the equivalency of Superior Court principles applied in a Small Claims context.
