Description

Ethical advocacy is the cornerstone of serving clients better. This course unravels the complexities of managing client priorities while maintaining professional ethics and the duty of candour. Practitioners must work to ensure their conduct avoids negative collateral consequences for the administration of justice.

  • Learning Objectives:

    • Recognize and manage conflict of interest risks in multi-party litigation settings.
    • Balance the duty of loyalty to the client with the professional duty to the court.
    • Determine when to consult or retain independent counsel on ethical matters.
