Free 24/7 Online Support-RCICCICC CPD Reporting & ComplianceCurrent CPD Reporting Cycle: July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026 To maintain your standing and successfully complete your annual requirements, please follow these mandatory steps:
Important Compliance Notes:
|
Ensure your professional standing is secure. Use this checklist to verify you have completed your requirements and gathered all necessary documentation from CPD House before submitting your annual renewal to the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC).
[ ] Total Hours: Confirm you have completed the minimum required CPD hours for the current reporting cycle (July 1 to June 30).
[ ] Professionalism/Ethics: Verify that your bundle or individual courses include the mandatory Ethics and Professional Practice hours required by the CICC.
Note: While you do not need to upload these documents for your standard Annual Renewal, the CICC requires you to retain them for a minimum of five years. If you are selected for a random CPD audit, you must produce these records.
[ ] Proof of Attendance (Certificates): Download and save the PDF Certificate of Completion for every live and video session you attended.
[ ] Official Agendas: Save the agenda for each course. The CICC uses this during an audit to verify the timing, format, and educational content.
[ ] Invoices/Receipts: Keep a copy of your CPD House invoices as secondary proof of your registration and payment.
[ ] Download Records Before Expiry: CPD House bundle access typically expires on June 30. Download all certificates and agendas from your member dashboard before this date.
[ ] Draft Your Attestation: Review your course dates and hours to ensure they match your CPD House agendas before entering them into the CICC portal.
[ ] Login Check: Test your access to the CICC Online Portal well before the June 30 deadline to avoid last-minute technical lockouts.
[ ] Submit the Attestation: Complete and submit your CPD Attestation securely through the CICC online portal, declaring your completed hours.
[ ] Pay Renewal Fees: Ensure your Annual Renewal fee is paid directly to the CICC.
[ ] Upload (Only if Audited): You only need to upload your certificates and agendas if you receive a specific notice from the CICC that you are being audited.
[ ] Archive for 5 Years: Keep all CPD House documents securely stored in your personal or firm files for five years.

Registration & Payments
Q: How can I pay for my courses? A: We accept Visa and Mastercard via our secure online portal. We also accept Interac e-Transfers. [Click here for detailed payment instructions.]
Q: I paid but haven't received my invoice or event instructions. What should I do? A: Invoices and instructions are sent automatically to your email on record. Please check your Spam/Junk folder first. It is the registrant’s responsibility to ensure their email address is correct and to save these records for their files.
Q: Can I get a tax receipt (T2202) for CPD courses? A: T2202 forms are only issued for vocational programs. CPD events are non-vocational. However, you may use your official invoice/proof of payment to claim educational expenses on your tax return. Please consult your tax professional or the CRA for guidance.
Accessing Your Account & Records
Q: I cannot access my profile to print past invoices. How do I fix this? A: Ensure you are using a desktop or laptop computer (smartphones are not recommended for account management). Log in using the email address associated with your registration. Once logged in, navigate to your profile and select the "Invoices and Payments" section.
Q: How do I retrieve records prior to June 2019? A: Our current system holds records from June 2019 onwards. For older registrations, please refer to the confirmation emails sent at the time of purchase or use your credit card statements as proof of payment.
Video CPD & Live Events
Q: How do I access my Video CPD? A: Your confirmation email contains a Step-by-Step Guide.
Q: Can I download the videos or receive a DVD? A: No. All videos are streamed securely via our cloud-based platform. We do not offer downloads or physical media (DVDs) to ensure content security.
Q: The video page says "Video not available, visit again." Why? A: You likely registered for a future event. Videos are typically available within 24 business hours after the live presentation date. Check your program title for the scheduled date.
Q: I watched a video early; can I claim the credit now? A: You must report your CPD credits based on the date and time on your official agenda and invoice, regardless of when you viewed the video. For specific rulings on early viewing, please consult the CICC.
Technical Troubleshooting
Q: The video is not playing or is buffering. What should I do? A: Most playback issues are related to local internet speed, browser cache, or firewall settings.
Q: My video password isn't working. A: Passwords are case-sensitive (usually ALL CAPS). If you are locked out after multiple attempts, please submit a Support Ticket. Access for current bundles is generally valid until the end of the term (June 30).
CICC Compliance & Reporting
Q: How do I claim my credits with the regulator? A: You must report your hours via the CICC online portal. We provide the agenda and certificates; however, the actual declaration is the member's responsibility. [Click here for our guide on claiming credits.]
Q: Are the Self-Assessment tests mandatory? A: No. These tests are optional tools for your own knowledge assessment and are not required by the CICC for CPD compliance.
Changes & Refunds
Q: Can I cancel an event or get a refund? A: Please review our [Refund and Registration Policy] before submitting a formal request via Refund Form R.
Q: I haven't received a reply to my support ticket. A: We respond to all valid support tickets within 12–24 business hours. If you haven't seen a reply, please check your spam folder before submitting a duplicate request.
